I
think celebration is important. For example, celebrating something is also thing
which shows gratitude, joy and so on. That’s why I think cerebrations are
positive things.
I
often celebrate friend’s birthday. When I was high school student, my friends
and I often threw various a surprise birthday parties. The first time which I threw
surprise party is for one of my best friends “Mayu”. First, we went to karaoke,
and everyone was singing. Next, I left karaoke, and I returned there with birthday
cake and present. Then we let off a firecracker and sang a birthday song. She
was very surprised, and her tears flowed because she was glad of it. I was really
glad too. My friends celebrate my birthday for me. When my 16th birthday, I ate out with my friends. Then my friends gave me a lot of snack and an album. I was very surprised because I didn’t expect at all. When my 17th birthday, we went to karaoke. My friends gave me a cake and an album. This is common case, but I was very glad. When my 18th birthday, my friends celebrate three times for me. Once I went shopping with one of my best friends “Mayu” and “Azu”. We went café in lunch time. A cake has been carried when we try to return. It is very cute cake! I was happy. The second time my friends in my class room visited my house and gave me an album. The third my male friends visited my house. They sang birthday song for me and gave me snack. Then I was poured lotion. I was very surprised and feel clammy, but I was glad. All presents which my friends gave me is treasure.
I think Celebration makes us happy.
It's interesting to me that "cafes" in Japan are different kinds of places than most "cafes" in the USA. In the USA, they are normally places like Starbucks, that only have drinks and desserts and **maybe** breakfast foods! I love that kind of cafe, too!

I'm glad you've had so many great birthday celebrations the last three years! I didn't understand what this meant, though: "Then I was poured lotion. I was very surprised and feel clammy,..."
